If you are a self-publishing writer, you are also a DIY marketing exec. I am including today’s self-portrait for your enjoyment. It’s an absolute likeness of me trying to get all the necessary social media accounts updated and connected to my website. Since all the URLs are in distinct word orders, getting everything connected correctly is very frustrating. I am fairly tech-savvy, but trying to understand Google Analytics, SEOs, tags, categories, etc., takes ten times more time and patience than writing three books, and is not nearly as fun! Hence, my self-portrait.
